“Fixing on duty” : Sarfaraz Ahmed’s cruel reply to Salman Butt’s criticism

In what could be termed as major humiliation, Sarfaraz Ahmed gave a response to Salman Butt as the latter criticized the former for his performance in the recently conducted PSL match. Butt criticized Sarfaraz as the captain lashed out at the players during the match. Now working as a Cricket Analyst on his Youtube channel, Salman Butt said that Sarfaraz doesn’t discuss with players but rather imposes his decisions onto them.

Sarfaraz in return did not mince his words and said that if people who have sold Pakistan Cricket will be concerned with other players’ intentions then only God can save them.

Butt recalled the last match where Naseem Shah asked for a fielder, which was turned down the Sarfaraz.

“He said that I will not take the fielder. Meaning that do as I say. You can’t do that always all the time with everybody. He is making things difficult for himself only. He should concentrate on himself and take care of his own performances. He is traveling with the Pakistan team as a second-keeper option, so he needs to look after his own performance.” Butt said on his Youtube channel.

Butt was involved in the 2011 spot-fixing scandal along with Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif and was banned for life after being found guilty by the England Cricket Board.
