While Pakistan Super League has gained positive reviews for the quality of cricket, it is hard for the league to stay out of the controversy. It was only few days ago that Australian cricketer James Faulkner left the league in between due to non-payment of his contractual fees. The matter did not settled down and now another controversy had erupted.

This time, Haris Rauf, the bowler for Lahore Qalandars was seen slapping the fielder Kamran Ghulam for dropping a catch. A video has gone viral depicting the incident.

While the fielder did not appeared disturbed at the gross misconduct of the bowler when Haris Rauf slapped him with disdain, the bowler does appear to be overly-angry. It is often said that cricket is a gentleman’s game and such type of incidents only put a bad light on the players. No action has been been announced yet from the PSL officials or third umpire but it looks the fans are not pleased with how the bowler reacted to the fielder for dropping a catch.

The match between the both sides went into the superover. Zalmi conceded only five runs in their super over, courtesy of fine bowling from Wahab Riaz. Shoaib Malik hit two fours of Shaheen Shah Afridi to secured the win.
