After nearly two weeks of Warne’s passing, the world has not come to terms of his heavenly departure. The leg-spinner lived a king-size lifestyle but also had a fair share of controversies. However, the cricketing community of the former and current players has always talked about the larger-than-life character of Shane Warne.
Speaking on a show of Tanmay Bhat, Shoaib Akhtar said that Warne was a spinner but had the heart of a fast bowler.
“I had a lot of memories with Shane Warne. He was a large-hearted guy, whether it was about money on gambling, friendship, or to help someone. He was such a legendary bowler and the kind of spinner who had the heart of a fast bowler. It was so hurtful with what happened to him. He departed too early. Greatest”

The legendary spinner was found dead in a villa on the 4th of March where he was vacationing with his friends. The body has been flown back to Australia and the memorial will be conducted in Melbourne on the 30th of March. The spinner fought Covid 19 twice in recent months and was also a heavy smoker throughout his life.
